A talk on the transformative power of breathwork and meditation

Breathwork, or consciously controlling your breath, is a fundamental tenet of yoga – with modern science backing up what the ancient yogis discovered through their practice and observation. Likewise, meditation was core to their practice, the route to enlightenment.
Fast forward to today, when both may be used as a route to self-realisation or simply as tools to help dial down stress, combat overwhelm and induce a sense of calm.
In this talk, I’ll be sharing a little about breathwork and meditation traditions and techniques, some of the science and there will be practical exercises too – from fun breathing techniques like hissing breath to help you let off steam to a restorative guided meditation.
